It’s Okay to Kill Sex Workers in Texas

I am just sitting here going WTF to myself right now.  I tripped across an article on Gawker where a dude in Texas got acquitted of murdering an escort because he paid her and she left without giving up the goods, so to speak.  Ol’ Dude shot her in the neck when he went to get his money back, and she died as a result.

Are you effing kidding me?!  This pretty much says women are property and you can treat them however you want if you paid for them.  Sorry, this is a violation of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights.

I just can’t believe this.  And I cannot articulate the outrage I feel right now.  Screw Texas.
